On May 30, 2015, Arts and Literacy students from JMC participated in the event Dancing in the Parks: Bushwick Community Festival. Students performed their original choreography alongside Moving Spirts Inc., Sydnie L. Mosley Dances, Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company and Rakiya Orange.

The 2014-2015 Arts & Literacy Dance Team at Juan Morel Campos was asked to present at the 2015 NY Child Cares Event hosted by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams this past April. They performed four contemporary pieces that they co-choreographed with their dance teacher Kimberly Cuevas.
