YMI “YOUNG MEN’S INITIATIVE” (SATURDAY 1:00-2:30PM)
Middle School participants 6-8th grade meet once a week with assigned mentoring groups. Together, these young men participate in sports, academic support and discussions related to their interest and experiences as young men. Free lunch is provided and several opportunities for field trips, basketball games & tournaments. The program is led by adult mentors ages 21+ with support of the Cooper Park Mentor Coordinator, Mr. Joe Zeigler, and basketball coach Mr. Di’Jon Folk.
OPEN GYM (3-5pm)
Teens in 5th-10th grade have supervised access to the gymnasium most days of the week.
COMMUNITY COMPUTER LAB (12:00PM-5:00PM)
Open computer lab from ages 12+
